At B ^ R E we love the saying ‘you are what you eat’, which is why our personal care products are filled with quality ingredients that not only restore the body from the inside out but also nourish and protect from the outside in.

With our skin being the largest organ, we feel it’s only right that we deliver products that act as food for our hair and skin without the nasties.

When listening and being guided by something far greater than ourselves it’s without question we sit in the curiosity of all the emotional, physical and mental benefits that nature intended with her beautiful plants, and oils.

Essential oils play a huge role throughout our latest intention range and our B PURE range doesn’t disappoint, infused with black pepper oil and an intention to purify, detox, remove and unveil, this range is set to guide you into feeling reconnected, fully expressed and clear.

Purify your mind, space and body with Black Pepper……..

Here’s a little background on black pepper oil and some of the many reasons and benefits to why we love it so much.

Known as the oil of unmasking…………

• black pepper reignites the soul fire, fueling motivation and

energy to reveal the masks used to hide aspects of the self.

Invites individuals to live in integrity, authentically and

courageously with the self.

• known for its detoxifying abilities, black pepper oil protects the body from oxidative stress (free radicals) and also helps to repair any damage that has already been done.

• rich in antioxidant and antibacterial properties

It goes without question that there is always a deeper meaning when we look into each aspect.

Therefore when we turn daily habits into self care rituals and surrender to the benefits and effects we can trust that we not only will walk away from each process with beautiful hair and glowing skin, but a far greater connection and presence to the way we choose to flow through life.

Since my recent trip to Italy I’ve been sitting in a space of reflection and what has come through has been truly magic.

As Brene Brown says in her recent book “True belonging is the spiritual practice of believing in and belonging to yourself so deeply that you can share your most authentic self with the world and find sacredness in both being a part of something and standing alone in the wilderness. True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.”
Brené Brown, Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone

I thought I used to travel with an open mind, open heart and a willingness to surrender to it all, and I’m sure I did, but it wasn’t until this trip, after years of sitting in the practice, after realising that the only way to look at new things was with a beginners mindset, and since discovering the art of self care, that I witnessed and experienced something much more profound than seeing the world.

Italy is like my second home, a place I truly get that sensation of belonging, a place that lights my soul on fire each time I plant my feet on the ground, and what was unique about this experience is that I got to share it with my family and connect on a much deeper level. As Brene so eloquently says in the paragraph above, ‘True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are, it requires you to be who you are’, I realised that the reason this trip was such a profound experience was because I fully surrendered and became my truest self and through this got to see the places and faces for who they really be all while sharing all of me. Maybe this comes with age, maybe it comes with a lot of commitment to growth and expansion, whatever it it, it’s beautiful and liberating and I wish for everyone to feel it.

When you let go of attachments, of expectations and of the need to belong somewhere, or to someone, you quickly begin to realise that you belong everywhere and nowhere or in Brene’s words “You are only free when you realize you belong no place—you belong every place—no place at all. The price is high. The reward is great.”

So as I continue to work on my latest intention range of B ^ R E movement personal care products, I realise that by being myself fully I am excited to invite all of the B ^ R E tribe and customers the opportunity to do the same.

Stay tuned for our newest range coming soon

How often are you hearing that word, the word that instantly makes my shoulders rise up near my ears, tightens my chest and puts knots in my stomach. I don’t know about you, but this just doesn’t and hasn’t sat with me for years. So how can we (particularly as women) move our way up and out into the world, share our vision and mission without being rough? -

Here’s a few things I do along my journey of business growth that help me stay connected, in alignment and moving through each challenge without climbing over someone and leaving them for dead behind me.

  1. Get clear on your blockages and face off with them.
  • financials
  • health
  • fitness
  • communication
  • relationships

When we fully assess where we sit in these areas, find what’s holding us back and take radical responsibility, we create space for more, more abundance, more health, better relationships and clearer communication in all partnerships. The result is phenomenal.

I invite you to try it, and if you find doing this on your own too overwhelming, consult a professional who can help guide you in the right direction. I believe we all need a mentor and friendtor so find someone you trust to help guide you to a life you love. Some of my favourites are Deestress book keeping for helping get your books and financials on track, Nyree Banks and Kylie Clooney for all your health needs, Dagma Hirsh for her incredible guidance into Triyoga practice, Rhyn Nasser for his mentor programs, Alexi Panos for her constant commitment to growth and expansion, effective communication and more.

2. Say YES to the things that set your soul alight! Yes, you got it, say YES to the things you love, yes to that long overdue catch up with a friend, yes to that travel opportunity, yes to that business course, yes to working with mentors, yes to choosing healthy nutritious food, yes to yoga, yes to qi gong, yes to connecting to self and yes to looking IN and not out for happiness.

The thing is, we are constantly chasing time and worrying about the what if’s that we are wasting time and not experiencing all the experiences that are around us. So once we get clear on the things that are holding us back, start committing to ourselves and our business, start loving ourselves and the world around us, then we start to create space and time for so much more!

Have a look at where hustle is taking over your life, where pushing and shoving may be getting you to greater heights, but it may not be feeling steady, or you may have left pieces of yourself along the way.

It’s never to late to reset, readjust, refocus and restart.

Yep, you got it - HUSTLE.

Now don’t get me wrong, if you look at it as a noun we get that it is a ‘state of great activity’ and that kind of sounds fun, but when I looked deeper into the meaning of the word it basically shared the feelings that arise within me when I hear it

HUSTLE - verb

1 .push roughly; jostle.“they were hissed and hustled as they went in"synonyms:jostle, push, push roughly, bump, knock, shove, nudge, elbow, shoulder.

So as we battle to teach our children kindness, compassion, humility and integrity we also say things like, 'but honey do as I say and not as I do while I go out into the world and shove, push, knock and elbow my way up the ladder of success.’

B ^ R E movement - Full moon | September 2017

As we move into this September full moon on the 6th, we are reminded of all the fiery energy that remains from August, the solar eclipse and good old Mercury coming out of retrograde and now have an opportunity to clear all of that energy out and bring in the new water energy of clarity, focus, growth and expansion.

This year has been filled with intensity, shifts and busting old patterns. Like the tides it’s important to go with the flow and simply check in, have a deeper awareness around what’s taking place energetically and choose to acknowledge, accept and gracefully embrace all the ebbs and flows that come your way.

As we come out of the fiery charge from the solar eclipse which saw us planting seeds / “harvest” our crops, forecast our visions and left many of us depleted of energy, exhausted and run down, we get to now witness the beauty of these visions come to life. A blossoming is upon us and with the calming and somewhat forceful energy of the water in Pisces we now get to truly gain deeper understandings of why we’ve chosen what we have this year, complete projects, get clear on our vision and float or dance our way through the later parts of 2017.

I’m not sure about you, but I know I’ve been in serious cleansing mode, removing all stagnant energy in my home and work spaces, tying loose ends with projects and letting go of all that no longer serves me.

I feel this moon is bringing with it a sense of completion, achievement and a collective awakened energy that is going to allow us to finally leave the old patterns and limiting beliefs behind us as we move into our new integrated, awakened selves.

Sink into your intuition this month, take on the more relaxed, calm vibes and as you witness the blossoming of your efforts begin manifesting and planning what’s ahead for the later part of 2017.

Stay kind, practice the art of self care and trust the process.

S E L F C ^ R E

A buzzword that’s at the forefront of most conversations in all spaces these days. From corporate office spaces, to small business and staff, to stay at home mums and dads and to the everyday individual that’s just trying to keep all balls in the air while wearing many hats in one day.

I love that it’s become a buzzword, in fact it’s my favourite word and the intention behind the brand here at B ^ R E movement, however I don’t feel the action has followed the intention as much as you would have hoped. Which is why I felt it was timely to reconnect, drop a line so to speak and encourage you all to find stillness amongst the chaos that is our daily lives.

The thing is that life is always going to life. Like the tides we will find moments where we pull back, retreat, unhook from all the chaos and stand still, we sink deep within to the bottom of our own being and enjoy the gentle lapping of the universe at our feet. It’s here we have the opportunity to recharge, reconnect, be whole and complete and need for nothing or no one to give us the permission to rest and simply be. And then like the tides we discover a new found courage and intention and charge forth, rolling forward with such effortless force and create, dance and play. Until this wears us too thin and we begin to burn out, fade away.

So if this is just how it is and life will just life, how does one hold onto those moments of calm, less overwhelm and peace?

It’s as easy as turning your daily habits into self care rituals, increasing your awareness and tweaking your reactions and responses so that whatever comes your way, you are prepared, not attached and calm.

We find these 5 simple steps help bring you to centre in each day.

  • 1. Gratitude - as each day rises and you step out of your bed, it’s in saying the words Thank You that you let go of any tension and allow gratitude for each breath and for being in the moment. The more you learn to say these simple words, the easier it becomes to forgive and take radical self responsibility in life.
  • 2. • 3. Cleanse - turn daily habits into self care rituals as you shower, wash your hair, have a bath or apply lotion to your body. Set an intention to not only cleanse, but to clear away the messes from the day. Indulge in the essential oils that are found in your natural products and reconnect to yourself as you exfoliate, wash and cleanse.

  • 4. Meditate - this doesn’t have to require a class or an hour of your day. Meditation can be whatever you decide it to be. 5 minute practices are just as effective when the intention to unhook and be still has been set. Our B ^ R E intention candles are a great way to help you set that intention prior to your meditation practice.

  • 5. Stay kind to yourself - it’s ok to feel all the feels, to move effortlessly like the tides and roll with the wind. Stay kind to yourself and trust the process. Remind yourself daily that you are seen, you are heard and you are loved.

The more you practice the art of self care, the easier it becomes to navigate your way through life with less comparison, less judgement and with more ease, confidence and joy.

I share this with the intention that it resonates with you and allows you to see that we all hold the power of living a life in alignment, on purpose and with love.

What’s beautiful about this is that ‘the wild possibility that is you and your impact’ is seen, heard and felt all the time, it’s particularly seen when you are in your truest nature, showing up and being the change you wish to see, when you are being your truest expression in ALL dimensions of life.

We often strive for perfection, the hustle, for success, riches, freedom, we strive with force without realizing that the simple awareness, the smallest decisions and showing up with full transparency IS you making an impact!

Your impact begins with you honoring all of you, the crazy, beautiful, messy, divine you. It is felt by everyone and everything you touch or connect with.

So don’t save your goodness just for those you “hope” to touch, spread it everywhere you go, speak your messages throughout your home, to your friends, your family, your pets, the trees and then your clients and prospects.

This is the meaning of impact, that ripple effect is real.

Because when you love yourself, you get to love others and all things bigger than you.

As I looked into his eyes tonight while he was trying to replicate my tooth brushing motions, a huge wave of love and gratitude just poured out of me right then and there.

His big eyes and little mouth open wide with so much curiosity and deep thought as he was going through the process.

The pause button got hit, time stood still, and as I witnessed this little person watching my every move, trying to impress me (yet again for the upteenth time today), I realised just how much of an effect we have on our children in all that we do.

Just like that every little detail in those eyes pierced right into my heart and soul and reminded me of why I continue to create, evolve, learn and stand up for what I believe in.

He is my why, my reason, the entire pulse to my brand, and the fire in my soul. Thanks to this star seed and the fact that he is continuously challenging me to bring my best self forward, I get to sink into deep awareness and truly glide into a life of consciousness, authenticity and constant evolution.

Just like that he cemented the vision I have of creating a movement that empowers others to move into a more conscious lifestyle with ease, to hold space for those still not sure on how to start and continue to create more organic personal care products that enable us to turn daily habits into self care rituals.

Because when we start to love ourselves more, that’s when we become more compassionate beings and start standing up for what we stand on. That’s when we get to collaborate, inspire and be inspired as a collective and truly make a difference on the planet.

Lets stare into space!

What would it take to simply close your eyes and be transported into space?

The place of infinite expansion that is free and unoccupied.

We often get caught out staring into space, living above and beyond our physical presence, but are we aware of that moment, or is it like the many things in life that we do and forget why and how?

With the fast paced way of the world in which we live, it’s so important to find small bite sized moments in each day. Moments that we can store away in our pockets and recall on at the end of each passing day that helped make our days seemingly more manageable, in flow and less cluttered.

Here are some simple yet effective ways to find yourself transported in space yet still physically present and mindful of your tasks at hand.

  1. Turn your daily habits into self care rituals - it’s in the simple things, like washing your hands at the sink, cleansing your face, lighting a candle or applying lotion to your skin. These moments are often done in a robotic state, unconscious and unaware of the impact those simple rituals can have on your mind and body. The next time you pump out your lotion and apply it to your body, tune in, be aware of the nurturing aspect and the time you’ve taken to nourish yourself.
  2. Breathe - another thing we often take for granted, that gentle soft movement that takes place within our diaphragm, yet the most important thing we could do. Find small moments throughout the day where you can close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, set an intention to clear any thoughts, get clarity on projects and nourish your body and mind as you tune into each circulation.
  3. Stretch | Movement - we’ve been told time and time again about the benefits of a 30 minute workout, how much it raises our vibration, clears the head and maintains health and wellbeing. If your still struggling to find a few minutes throughout the day, simply stand up and swing your arms about, jump up and down on the spot and stretch. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at just how much it elevates your state.
  4. Choose to care - the more you give, the better you feel. Be a contribution for things greater than you, stand up for what you stand on and do it with confidence.
  5. Adopt a more natural life - one with awareness of the impact your choices have on your health, your home and the world around you.

Your thoughts are as clean as your space, so clear your space, declutter, fuel your body with clean food and good intentions.

Find out what we do over at B ^ R E movement over on our blog, and how you can be a part of the movement of turning daily habits into self care rituals with our natural | organic personal care products. www.baremovement.com

  • 2. Go Outside - in order to truly nurture ourselves we need to break away from all the noise, the to do lists and distractions. Take a moment to walk away from your computer, turn off the TV and step outside and relish in the sensation of the ground at your feet, the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Listen to the leaves rustle in the trees as the wind sweeps through and lifts away any thoughts in your mind that no longer serve you.
